Different levelsof participation in a live video presentation event are available. An "audio-only" option is available using a telephone conference call. The "live presentation" button connects you with the audio/video presentation from one or two cameras. The "video conference" button allows you to login to the video conference service, and with a mic and/or webcam enabled computer offers the opportunity to fully participate.

1. You can participate and listen to the presentation through a telephone conference call, by calling 1 (218) 486-1600 accesscode 327199 #. For this option, you don't need a computer and broadband internet connection but you will have no video information available. The phone connection will be in Q&A mode to enhance audio quality. To unmute/mute the phone and ask questions, press *6 (star, six) on your telephone keypad. To preserve the audio quality, mute your phone after asking the question by pressing *6 again. The conference call connection is generally better and more reliable than the internet connection, and may be preferred over the audio available on the video presentation. If privacy is important, audio will only be available on the conference call.

2. Guest level: you can hear/see the presentation and interact with live and on-line audience. Interaction is limited to typing comments and questions in the chat window.

3. Voice participant: you can hear/see the presentation and interact with live and on-line audience. Interaction includes typing comments and questions in the chat window as well as talking to presenter and audience increasing the range of participation in dialogue and discussion. Also allows for participation in smaller online discussion groups in separate chat rooms. Requires member registration and member login, and a microphone enabled computer. Audio connection may take place using the conference call option (see above).

4. Webcam participant: you can hear/see the presentation and interact with live and on-line audience. Interaction includes typing comments and questions in the chat window and also talking to presenter and audience while being seen by them further increasing the range of participation in dialogue and discussion. Also allows for participation in smaller groups in separate chat rooms. Requires member registration and member login, and webcam enabled computer.

Maximum number of on-line participants is 20, but can be increased with prior notice. Remember to have a mic close to your mouth and add extra light (a CFL about two feet away) for better picture quality.
